Making A DifferenceThe Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund is a statewide, non-profit, public/private partnership that steps in and keeps the heat and power on for thousands of families in crisis. Many of these households pay between 50-60% of their monthly income toward energy costs. During this time of economic instability and increasing
lay-offs, it is easy for the most vulnerable in our communities to
fall between the cracks, leaving many to face life-threatening emergencies.
Heat, a basic necessity, has become an unaffordable luxury for thousands
of families who have nowhere else to turn. Applications for the KWWF are taken at Energy Assistance offices throughout the state. Click here to find out how to apply for assistance from the KWWF. |
